My friendship with them isn't having dinner in an expensive restaurant, it is not hanging out at the coffee shop, it is not traveling every summer, it is not sending sms everyday, it is not receiving phone calls or gifts on my birthdays, it is not taking groupie or selfie pictures. What I have with them is seventeen years of friendship. A countless sleep overs, playing cards, drinking, and movie marathons. They're the kind of friends that I can call at four in the morning. The kind of friends that I don't need to talk but they would know that I am not okay. The kind of friends that even if I ignore them for a year still when I need them they will be there without questions.
